Hi everyone - well 12 months flew by in a New York minute so it seemed! Chitra, Shobhita, Sarvesh and I wanted to wish you and your families great health and happiness in 2014.
But before we consign 2013 to history, we wanted to share with you a quick look at a thrill-a-minute year chez Sundaram. When as ever, Shobhita and Sarvesh lit up our lives with their antics, achievements and fights.
Shobhita crossed that mighty rubicon and turned 13, leaving us with the dizzy contemplation of having a teenage daughter on our hands! While Sarvesh completed his first decade on Planet Earth, which we commemorated by compiling a video of his life. I had originally intended this to culminate in the "Sarvesh top 10 frivolities" - but such was the wealth of material he has bestowed on us, that it grew and grew into a top 50. And every clip had us all in stitches!
There was plenty of the great outdoors, with our spring trip of a lifetime to the Big Island in Hawaii and then our summer sojourn to the magnificent Dordogne area of France. And as usual, hikes galore and family memories on the tennis courts (Shobhita sledger-in-chief during our doubles games) and ski slopes. And a chock-a-block extracurricular schedule for the kids with Violin; Indian classical vocal; karate and soccer for Sarvesh; and violin and choir for Shobhita.
But rather than my droning on, let me let the footage tell the story with our traditional musical festive review ...
